Symposium "Scientific writing with AI and ChatGPT - where is the journey heading?"

On 14 December 2023, around 60 visitors celebrated the 20th anniversary of the publication portal German Medical Science at ZB MED in Cologne with the symposium Scientific writing with AI and ChatGPT - where is the journey heading?

The symposium explored the question of what the future of scientific writing will look like and how artificial intelligence will influence and change the writing, review and research process. Both the keynote speech by Prof Dr Henrik Müller (TU Dortmund) and the presentation by Fabian Rack (FIZ Karlsruhe) are now online on YouTube. In his presentation, Prof Müller answers the question of why AI is forcing us towards natural intelligence, while Fabian Rack sheds light on (copyright) law in connection with generative AI.
