Vera Clemens works as a software developer at ZB MED as part of the NFDI4Health project. By joining the Dataverse Project Core Team, she takes on a key role in the further development of the global open-source platform. The Core Team consists of experienced developers who help shape the project's technical direction and coordinate international collaboration.

The Dataverse Project is a globally established open-source platform for research data repositories. It enables research institutions to publish, archive, preserve, discover and share research data for reuse in accordance with the FAIR principles. The platform has been developed since 2006 at the Institute for Quantitative Social Science (IQSS) at Harvard University in collaboration with an international open-source community.

Dataverse provides the technical foundation for the Health Study Hub, which was developed by the NFDI4Health consortium. The FAIRagro Dataset Finder is also based on the software. Around 150 Dataverse installations are currently documented worldwide, including 73 in Europe and 15 in Germany. This makes Dataverse one of the leading open-source solutions for publishing and enabling the reuse of scientific research data.
